Street Fighter 4 - Character Unlocks
A guide by Harry
This guide details all 9 unlockable characters in Street Fighter 4.
Although this is in the Xbox 260 section, it should be the same for every console.
The first 6
The first 6 characters can be unlocked at any point in the game.
- Cammy: Complete Arcade Mode on any difficulty with Crimson Viper
- Dan: Complete Arcade Mode on any difficulty with Sakura.
- Sakura: Complete Arcade Mode on any difficulty with Ryu.
- Gen: Complete Arcade Mode on any difficulty with Chun-Li
- Fei Long: Complete Arcade on any difficulty Mode with Abel
- Rose: Complete Arcade Mode on any difficulty with M. Bison
The final 3
The final 3 characters can only be unlocked after you have got all 6 of the previous fighters. They must also be unlocked in order.
- Akuma: Complete Arcade Mode with at least 1 perfect and no deaths. You will need to change the rounds down to 1. After fighting and beating Seth, you will be challenged by Akuma.
- Gouken: Gouken can only be unlocked after Akuma. Complete Arcade Mode with at least 1 perfect, 3 super/ultra finishes, 5 first attacks AND no deaths. You will need to change the rounds down to 1. After fighting and beating Seth, you will be challenged by Gouken.
- Seth: Complete Arcade Mode on any difficulty with every character (including Gouken).
